I'm a PhD student at Inalco (the "Eastern languages" institute) in Paris, France, and a member of the research teams SeDyL (Structure et dynamique des langues) and ERTIM (Équipe de Recherche Textes, Informatique, Multilinguisme).
My primary research areas are phonetics-phonology, dialectology and dialectometry, but my work also touches on typology, areal linguistics, sociolinguistics and Natural Language Processing.
I work mostly on Armenian, but I'm very interested in the many languages of Western Asia and in other languages in diaspora.
Outside of my research I'm an avid reader, runner and rower and a (very) amateur genealogist.
Check out my Research and Teaching pages to see what I've been up to, and head to Translation if you're looking for help with genealogical research, family documents or looking for language-specific consultation.
